ABU DHABI, 30th September / WAM/ The Cultural Complex of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Caracalla Dance School, will launch an international performance troupe for the first time in Abu Dhabi, a six-week educational program for young people from October 3 to November 13.
Caracalla instructors will teach a variety of dance styles ranging from Caracalla dance style, hip-hop, dance technique training, dances inspired by Broadway musicals, and modern contemporary dance arts.
Launched in 1968, Ensemble Caracalla is known for its blending of Middle Eastern dance traditions and Western style and has performed in theaters all over the world, including the Champs Elysees in Paris, Osaka National Theater in Japan and opera houses in both Frankfurt, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Muscat.
This program is specifically designed to provide young people with the opportunity to express their potential and creativity through the arts of dance and to learn different dance techniques and styles through a structured curriculum developed through the Caracalla Troupe.
