CAIRO, 26 June / WAM / President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, at the Presidential Palace in Cairo.
His Excellency expressed his wishes to the leadership and people of the Emirates for further progress, prosperity and development under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.” He praised the UAE’s central role in achieving peace, stability and development in the region.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi affirmed his country’s pride in the close historical ties and sincere brotherly relations with the United Arab Emirates, which are witnessing continuous development in various fields and sectors.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation at various levels. The latest regional developments and issues of common concern were reviewed. The two sides also discussed the importance of joint coordination, which contributes to consolidating the foundations of peace and stability in the region and the world.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed to the Egyptian President the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him” and His Highness’ wishes for the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt further progress and prosperity. His Highness affirmed his keenness to strengthen and consolidate the close brotherly relations between the two countries. The two countries will achieve common interests and enhance security, stability and development in the region.
For his part, the Egyptian President conveyed his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, and his wishes for the UAE further progress and prosperity.
His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi welcomed the meeting of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stressing that the Egyptian-Emirati relations embody an inspiring path of what should be the relations between brotherly countries, which extend for more than 50 years of brotherhood and love that unites the two brotherly countries and peoples, which is an extension of instilling The approach of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, was followed by the wise leadership of the Emirates and is reflected in the consensus of visions and points of view on various regional and international issues.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of the Emirati-Egyptian relations, which are becoming increasingly solid with the support and care of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries, praising the pivotal role of the Arab Republic of Egypt in laying the foundations for peace and stability, especially in light of the current stage that the world is going through, which requires more of cooperation, consultation and coordination to address the current common regional and global challenges.
The meeting was attended by HE Maryam Khalifa Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and HE Mohamed Hassan Al-Suwaidi, CEO and Managing Director of ADQ Holding Company.
