Paris, June 30 / WAM / The Museum of the Future, the global knowledge platform concerned with strengthening the institutionalization of future foresight and designing its ideas, has been a key guest at the SITEM World Summit of Museums, which is hosted by the French capital, Paris, at the Louvre Museum. The delegation of the Museum of the Future also discussed with the leaders of international museums the most prominent recent trends in the concept of international museums and the rapid development witnessed by the concept of the museum and its role in society following rapid technological changes and other factors such as the public’s desire and what they look forward to from their visit to museums.
This global event allows decision makers, experts and workers in the field of museums to develop new perceptions of the concept of modern international museums in terms of architecture, operating structure, display tools, museums’ connection with their human-hosting environments, and ways to employ them as pioneering projects that benefit the future of global societies and economies.
The international museums, numbering more than 95,000, are an important means of communicating cultures and enhancing the confidence of societies in their ability to withstand challenges and inspire future directions from the lessons of the past. Cities invest in their smart infrastructure to raise the levels of benefit of all segments of society from museums and the collections, exhibits and ideas they offer that address human history, present and achievements, and take them towards a future full of opportunities.

During his keynote speech entitled “Where the future lies”, His Excellency Khalfan Belhoul stressed that Dubai is an ideal destination to unify global efforts in designing a better future for humanity, in light of its pioneering experience in employing modern technology and innovations in the service of societies, and reducing the negative effects of challenges affecting the future of humanity.
