DUBAI, January 22 / WAM / UAE players dominated the Dubai International Jet Ski Race, the third round of the 2023 UAE Championship, which was held on the shores of the Dubai Islands.
60 competitors from 9 countries, namely Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Japan, Britain, Russia, Belgium and Hungary, participated in the race, as well as the UAE champions, who competed for titles in 10 different categories in the championship, which was organized by the Dubai International Marine Club.
UAE champion Omar Abdullah Rashid, on his bike No. 76, won the GP1 professional standing category, after collecting 47 points, beating his Belgian competitor Anthony Bernaut (second) with 42 points, and his colleague Salman Younes Al-Awadi on his bike No. 7 (third) with a score 42 points.
In the Professional Seated GP1 category, Kuwaiti Mohammed Burabi’ won the lead with a full score (50 points), and his compatriot, the champion, Muhammad Jassim Al-Baz, came second with 44 points, while the UAE champion, Rashid Suhail Al Tayer, on his bike No. 5, finished third with 40 points.
The seated GP3 category saw an Emirati trio dominate the first positions, after Khalifa Al Marzouqi, rider of bike 7, won first place with 45 points, and his colleague Abdullah Al Hammadi, rider of bike 10 (second), collected 44 points, while Jamal Al Janahi, rider of bike 43 (third). After getting 43 points.
While Saeed Mahmoud Al-Awadi, rider of bike No. 33, won first place in the standing GP2 category, leading the standings with a full score of 50 points, ahead of his colleague Ahmed Issa Al Hammadi, rider of bike 76 (second) with 42 points, and Kuwaiti Yusef Al-Abd Al-Razzaq (third) with 38 points. .
Amer Haweer, on his bike No. 17, also won the lead in the GP2 seated category, with 47 points, ahead of his colleague Khaled Suleiman Al-Mazmi, the leader of bike 3 (second), with 40 points, and Kuwaiti Ahmad Al-Khudari (third) came with 40 points.
In the Seated GP4 (Spark) category, our player Ahmed Issa Al-Hammadi, rider of bike No. 76, confirmed his superiority and won first place with 47 points, ahead of Bahraini Ahmed Al-Harmi (second) with 43 points, and Kuwaiti Omar Al-Qanaei (third) with 42 points.
