The Emirates Triathlon won four seats in the Asian Football Confederation, during the AFC General Assembly meeting that was held in Japan yesterday, as Khalifa Al Darmaki won membership in the Technical Committee, Anan Al Ameri won membership in the Women’s Committee, Asma Al Janahi won membership in the Coaches Committee, and Noha Luqman won membership Players Committee.
Abdulmalik Jani, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Triathlon Federation, confirmed, in a press statement, that “the UAE’s victory in the General Assembly of the Asian Federation reflects Arab and Asian support and the prestige enjoyed by the state,” explaining that “the state’s participation in the meetings of the General Assembly is an affirmation of its role in promoting the future of The sports sector, and support the federation in implementing its strategic objectives.
