Nouf Al-Enezi became the first Emirati international player to play in the Spanish stadiums, after Leganes announced her contract with her as part of strengthening its ranks to advance to the first division.
Nouf, 25, played in a friendly match with Leganes against Real Madrid women, and coach Yero Martos liked her, and asked the club’s management to sign her.
Al-Enezi, the international midfielder, was the first Emirati to play abroad, having played for the Egyptian club Wadi Degla in 2017, and she holds an engineering degree in information security and works in the field of human resources.
