  • The latest season of the jungle camp starts on Saturday.

  • The candidates were picked up today and taken to the Australian jungle.

  • Saying goodbye to their loved ones was very difficult for some people.

Now things are getting serious for Heinz Hoenig (72), Lucy Diakovska (47) and Co.: This year’s jungle stars are on their way to camp. The twelve candidates of this year’s season of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” have been in Australia for a few days. They were picked up one day before the start of the RTL broadcast on January 19th. They send final messages to their fans on Instagram.

After saying goodbye, his wife Annika (38) speaks out on Heinz Hoenig’s Instagram account. «Heinz was picked up. “It was so emotional,” explains Hoenig. “It’s not for nothing that I’m wearing sunglasses because we’ve both had farewell tears.”

Twenty4tim says an emotional goodbye

Influencer Twenty4tim (23) said goodbye with an emotional Instagram post. The 23-year-old wrote about a photo of him hugging his mother on the beach: “This is my farewell. Who would have ever thought that I would turn my back on social media and move to the jungle camp.” He also speaks out personally in his Instagram story and is visibly nervous. The parents then report to the influencer’s account: “Tim has been picked up. His hands were shaking.”

Lucy Diakovska is less emotional. The No Angels singer appears full of anticipation in a video shortly before leaving for camp. She wishes the viewers a “great time” and “a lot of fun” with the show.

“Eyes shut and go for it”

Reality star Fabio Knez (30) also spoke up in anticipation in a recent Instagram story: “I’m ready to move in,” he explains before handing the cell phone over to girlfriend Darya Strelnikova (31). She then films her boyfriend driving away in the car. Shortly beforehand, Knez posted some photos of the beach and wrote: “Close your eyes and go through.”

Things are a little more dramatic for Leyla Lahour (27): In a recent Instagram post, the reality star jokingly reads out his “will”. “Of course it’s just in case,” said the 27-year-old. Shortly after leaving for the camp, her story says: “If you’re reading this, I’m on my way to the jungle camp. Oh man, I’m so excited.”

In Felix von Jascheroff’s (41) Instagram story, friend Sophie Winterberg spoke up and announced: “Felix has now been picked up too. Now the journey can really start.” She then shares a video that shows the actor waving in the car as he leaves for the jungle.
