Through her Con Cora foundation, Karol G took 35 young people from various regions of Colombia to see the NASA Space Station in Houston, Texas. The visit is part of the educational immersion program ‘She is an astronaut’, whose purpose is to foster interest and facilitate access to areas such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics for girls and adolescents between the ages of 11 and 16.

The program, according to its website, “runs for 5 months, with virtual training and learning classes on robotics, programming, teen pregnancy prevention, cyberbullying, entrepreneurship, and more. At the end, the academic immersion at the Space Center in Houston, where for five days the crew members fly high, interact with astronauts, receive workshops and classes on programming, robotics, development of skills such as teamwork, leadership.
The 35 young women arrived at the NASA Special Station and Karol G was waiting for them there, who made the visit even more emotional and special, since the singer not only welcomed them to the program but also had them as guests at Tomorrow’s concert It will be Bonito Tour, which took place in the city of Houston.

“I just don’t believe it! I am at a Karol G concert, I am in the United States, I am with 35 girls from all over Colombia. I can only say that God has great things for us, that is the only thing I can say, and that if we are here it is because we are going to be great in life”, said one of the attendees.
The Con Cora Foundation was born in March 2022, its work is focused on offering social, economic, artistic, psychological and spiritual support to women in vulnerable situations.
“Many times it happens to me, more than anything on the plane, that I have a lot of time to think, and I say, God, I know that you are making it great for some reason, it is impossible for a person to receive so many blessings simply to be filled with success or fill their pockets with money”, said Karol G in an interview shared by his foundation.
The foundation, like its last album, seeks to make tomorrow beautiful for more people.
