Preparing for the future is the advantage of the UAE government, through decisions and initiatives that contribute to preparing society for the future, and arming government employees with modern tools, through the “Jahiz” initiative, which is a national digital platform to empower talent in the federal government.
This national initiative was a witness to the excellence of the UAE government at the World Economic Forum – Davos 2024, where it was chosen within the activities of the annual “Davos” meetings, as the best global projects in the global report “Building Readiness for Tomorrow”, which is distinguished by its monitoring of effective practices in readiness for the future at the level Global. The UAE was among the best, as it was chosen from among about 1,000 governmental and private institutions from all countries of the world.
Remarkable results of this national initiative that targets all federal government employees, so that they are armed with the skills of the future, master the language of the era, and prepare for the challenges of tomorrow, by mastering various skills, through digital workshops throughout the year, so that this knowledge is reflected in their job performance, and documented with approved certificates, so that the employee ends his career year. He holds dozens of professional certificates, which leads to employee empowerment and enhances the UAE government’s readiness for the future.
The Jahez initiative was able to provide knowledge to 50,000 employees, in 50 government agencies, and they were able to obtain 800,000 training certificates, and the number of training hours is estimated at about one million hours.
