Born in 1988 in Bamako, Mali, Moulaye Taboure continued his studies after his baccalaureate at Paris Dauphine University where he obtained a master’s degree in performance management and management control. He gained professional experience at Orange Mali then worked in renowned companies such as SFR, IBM and Alstom Group, occupying positions of responsibility such as audit team leader.

In 2013, Moulaye Taboure and his partners Abdoul Kadry DIALLO and Luc Boubakar PERUSSAULT-DIALLO founded Anka, a platform offering three main solutions. First Afrikrea Marketplace, a busy online store with over a million visitors per month and a strong presence on social media with over a million followers. Then

Anka Shipping, a service facilitating shipping from Africa to other destinations. And Anka Pay, a payment solution for carrying out financial transactions to and from Africa, including the Anka Card Visa card to simplify payments.

These three solutions provide a comprehensive platform for online sales, shipping logistics and financial transactions, helping to facilitate trade with Africa. Anka’s areas of expertise are African fashion, local crafts and products, African art and decoration. “Unlike natural resources sold and controlled by others, African culture is an unlimited wealth, envied and accepted worldwide, which Africans will always possess,” we read on the Afrikrea.com website.

The platform, which has a team of 14 nationalities working remotely on 5 continents (Africa, North and South America, Asia and Europe), ensures 10 million transactions per year in more than 150 countries.
