The world is not yet on track to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030 but it is still “possible” to get there, the UN said on Thursday, calling for more funding support for these efforts. “The data and evidence in the report we are releasing today shows there is a path to ending AIDS by 2030.” explained Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director of UNAIDS.
