Endowments: Mosques open half an hour before Eid al-Fitr prayers, with precautionary controls

The Ministry of Awqaf stressed that all imams open mosques before Eid al-Fitr prayer Half an hour, in the major mosques where Friday prayers are held.

The Ministry of Awqaf stressed the necessity of observing the following in the blessed Eid al-Fitr prayer:

. Adhere to the muzzle and distancing measures.

. The mosque was opened half an hour before prayer at most and closed half an hour and minutes later.

. The Eid sermon should be within 10 minutes, such as Friday, with adherence to the unified Eid sermon, in text or in content.

. Allowing the opening of women’s chapels in mosques where they are opened for Friday prayers or Qiyam prayers.

The National Institute for Astronomical Research had confirmed that Sunday, May 1, completes the month of Ramadan 1443 AH, and the astronomical start of the month of Shawwal 1443 AH will be on Monday, May 2, the “Blessed Eid al-Fitr”.

The institute confirmed the crescent of the month of Shawwal is born immediately after the conjugation occurred at exactly ten and 28 pm Cairo local time on Saturday 29 of Ramadan 1443 AH corresponding to 4/30/2022 AD (the day of sighting).
