Avenir Telecom announces the Energizer P28K, a smartphone with a gigantic 28,000 mAh battery for the Mobile World Congress 2024. It is not the first “power bank smartphone” from Energizer.

Energizer, best known for its battery technology, has announced the Energizer P28K. The smartphone has a battery capacity of 28,000 milliampere hours on. This means that it surpasses conventional models many times over, as “only” 5,000 milliamperes hours are usually offered.

A power bank smartphone called Energizer P18K Pop was already unveiled at MWC 2019, with an 18,000 mAh battery. Although further details about the P28K are still being kept under wraps, it is likely to be one of the most exotic smartphones at the upcoming trade fair. However, the P18K Pop did not attract any interest because the crowdfunding campaign massively missed its funding goal.
