Energy: is the rise in gas and electricity prices endless?

Sia Partners energy expert Alexandre Viviers explains “that there are two types of markets: the market for the same day or the next day and the futures markets where producers buy or sell volumes, negotiate prices… for several months, even several years in advance. As they are transparent market platforms, the price is known and we can rely on it to know the market’s anticipation in relation to energy prices in the future”.

The predictions are not very good since the improvement will not come until April 2024.
