Energy supplier EVN increased profit – company

Vienna / Maria Enzersdorf – The upheavals on the energy markets continue to affect the results of the listed Lower Austrian energy supplier EVN. Although the consolidated profit in the first quarter increased significantly by 83.2 percent to 149.4 million, a good third of this is due to valuation effects. In energy sales, the company recorded a loss of 70.5 million euros. Nevertheless, we are confident for the year as a whole.
