England player Jonny Bairstow revealed this through social media. Bairstow expressed his displeasure at traveling from England to Guwahati in economy class. He shared a photo of them traveling by plane on Instagram. The team’s journey lasted about 38 hours.
Chris Woakes and captain Jos Buttler can be seen in the picture shared by Bairstow. In the picture, other passengers are also gathered around the stars. The actors arrived in India in IndiGo’s economy class. Bairstow stated that all the players are tired because of it.
Usually players mostly travel in business class. But the reason why this happened in the case of England team is not known. The India-England warm-up match will start at 2 pm.
