Manchester: All-rounder Moeen Ali has achieved a rare feat in the history of England Test cricket. Ali is only the fourth England player to have more than 3000 runs and more than 200 wickets in Tests. The achievement came during the third Test of the Ashes series. The player was out after scoring 54 runs. Other actors are Ian Botham, Andrew Flintoff and Stuart Broad.
Botham has 5200 runs and 383 wickets in his account. Former player Flintoff has 3845 runs and 226 wickets. Broadwatte scored 3640 runs. Also 600 wickets. Moeen Ali now has 3008 runs. He bagged 201 wickets. Moeen Ali is the 16th player to achieve the feat among world players.
Meanwhile, England are in a strong position in the Manchester Test. After dismissing the Aussies for 317 in the first innings, the hosts have scored 265 runs for the loss of just two wickets when they finally got the information.
