Prerequisites for Apple ID Security Keys – At least two FIDO-certified security keys work with Apple devices. iOS 16.3 or later on all devices that are signed in with your Apple ID. Set up two-step authentication for your Apple ID. To sign in to your Apple Watch, Apple TV, or HomePod after you set up Security Keys, you’ll need an iPhone or iPad with a software version that supports Security Keys. Here’s how Apple users set up the Security Key on their iPhone: 1. On your iPhone, go to the Settings app. 2. Tap on your name, then tap on Password and Security. 3. Click Add Security Keys, then follow the onscreen instructions to add your keys. 4. Browse the devices associated with your Apple ID, then choose: 5. Sign in on all active devices. 6. Select the devices that you do not want to continue accessing your account and log out. If you want to stop using security keys, open the Settings app, tap your name, and tap Password & Security.
