The State Duma is currently discussing the development of a mechanism for the termination of Russian citizenship from persons who received it by birth. The corresponding draft law has been published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
“It is proposed to extend the mechanism for the termination of citizenship of the Russian Federation,” says in the text of the document. It notes that the submitted draft proposes to expand the range of cases in which citizenship can be deprived of citizenship from persons who received it by birth.
