Muscat – The ruler of Oman, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, and the president of Iran Dr. Ibrahim Raizi also discussed on phone. The two discussed Oman-Iran relations and ways to enhance effective cooperation. Views were also exchanged on regional and international developments.
Meanwhile, Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayed Badr Al Busaidi discussed the current dangerous situation in Gaza and the Occupied Palestinian Territories with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and foreign ministers of the GCC countries. He called for the international community to step in to restart the peace process and immediately end the ongoing conflict in Palestine.
