The health services implemented by the Directorate of Health Affairs in Aswan, in the family planning and reproductive health sector, within the framework of the state’s great interest in supporting Egyptian family health and reproductive health, amounted to the implementation of 21 reproductive health and family planning convoys, representing 105% of the targeted convoys, during the period from July until the end of September of the current year.
Dr. Mustafa Abu Al-Magd, Director General of Preventive Medicine in Aswan, confirmed in a press statement that family planning and reproductive health services, in addition to other health and therapeutic services, were made available within medical centers and hospitals in deprived areas through mobile clinics, with daily visits amounting to 379 visits, representing 126% of the visits. Targeted.
He added that the campaign was also implemented to serve family planning awareness under the slogan “Your Right” in all health departments in the period from August 27 to September 7, and 410 visiting doctor visits were carried out to health units, with reproductive health and family planning services provided to 15,564 beneficiaries, in addition to providing 162,830 means. Various family planning, carrying out 44,108 home visits by rural women pioneers, organizing 6,081 information seminars at women’s clubs in health units, and holding 55 exhibitions to market women’s club products as part of women’s empowerment efforts.
