The text which modifies the current system for registering in the first year of secondary school must be adopted this Wednesday in the plenary session of Parliament, while the single registration forms are currently being distributed to sixth grade pupils.
In order for families to have enough time to take ownership of the new system, most planned changes (already detailed here) will therefore not intervene during the procedure which begins in January for 2022-2023 registrations.
The classification criteria in useful order or on the waiting list therefore do not change for the moment.
Only one improvement will take effect from this edition: it is the confirmation of enrollment which should be given as soon as the form is submitted in schools considered incomplete for three years. A list of these will be communicated by the administration.
For the rest, we will wait for the procedure that will begin in early 2023 regarding registrations for 2023-2024.
