Not easy to control travelers to ensure that they have a ticket allowing them to use the Stib network. This is sometimes accompanied by tension. This Monday, two officers were injured in the performance of their duties, reports The Last Hour.
The incident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. at the Gare du Nord stop in Schaerbeek. A woman refused to comply with the control procedure and was removed from tram 3. After shouting and screaming to call the police “for help”, the passenger bit the controllers. The police intervened and took the woman away. Questioned by the DH, the Stib affirms that the agents get away with “minor injuries”.
