Environmental activist Wouter Mouton stuck to the roadway on Thursday shortly before noon, not far from the official residence of Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, located at 16 rue de la Loi, in Brussels.

The 46-year-old wants through this action to draw attention to the opening of the COP28 climate conference. He wore a bib around his neck to symbolize, he said, the stupidity of politicians on climate issues. Police and firefighters are on scene to free the man.

Wouter Mouton is already known for having carried out numerous actions in favor of the climate during, among others, the Tour of Flanders and the final of the Belgian Football Cup in 2022.

He also had his skull pressed against the board. The girl with the pearl earring in The Hague, Netherlands, or his right hand against another work in the Groeninge Museum in Bruges.
