Valiyathura police registered a case against EP Jayarajan in the case of assaulting youth congressmen inside the plane. A case has been registered under sections of attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy. Thiruvananthapuram Judicial First Class Magistrate Court has directed to file a case against EP Jayarajan, the chief minister’s gunman and personal staff in the incident of pushing the protestors on the plane. The petition was submitted to Youth Congress activists Farzeen Majeed and RK Naveen Kumar who protested against the flight.
In the petition, they mentioned that EP Jayarajan was assaulted during the protest. The petition states that EP Jayarajan stabbed her in the neck, punched her in the neck and slapped her in the face and pushed her. He threatened that he would not be alive if he spoke against the Chief Minister. The petition also states that the attack was for shouting slogans of protest.
