Santa Claus is early and is coming to drop off three gifts under the virtual tree of the Epic Games Store, we’ll have to hurry!
Last Friday, Epic Games launched the end-of-year festivities with 15 days of free games in parallel with its winter sales. Over the past seven days, platform users have therefore been able to acquire some nuggets such as Bloons TD6, Wolfenstein: The New Order or Lego Builder’s Journey.
With one title per day, the platform spoils players. But against all odds, Epic Games is really not lacking in generosity. Today, it’s not just one gift but three surprises that the shop has in store for us..
Until 5 p.m. (French time), the Epic Games Store offers you to add for free the origins of the Fallout franchise at your library. For a dip in nostalgia and (re)discovering one of the pioneers of CRPGs (Computer Role Playing Games), players can immerse themselves in Fallout, Fallout 2 et Fallout Tactics : Brotherhood of Steel.
Before this license became the one we know today, namely a first-person role-playing game, the adventures took place in top view with an interface that is reminiscent of that of Diablo first of the name. Change of scenery guaranteed for those who are used to Fallout 4.
And the rest of the surprises then?
If you can’t wait to find out what Epic has in store for you to celebrate the end of the year, you’re in luck! Some rumors and leaks have already revealed, two gifts to come. So far these leaks have managed to confirm headlines from days gone by. So there is a good chance that the next predictions will be just as real.
From this evening, Encased should join the selection of free games. This post-apocalyptic RPG released in 2019 is directly inspired by Fallout original, an addition that makes sense after the surprise of the day. At last, Assassins Creed: Origins would be one of the headliners of the selection and offered to everyone on December 28.
