Eiffage Énergie Systèmes becomes the new owner of the EQOS Group, which specializes in infrastructural services. Sustainable growth strategy will be continued across the group. The EQOS brand and organization will be retained

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes will acquire the EQOS Group, one of the leading service providers of complex infrastructure in the energy, telecommunications and rail transport sectors, from Triton on April 23, 2024. The service portfolio of EQOS, which specializes in overhead line construction, energy, railway and communications technology, covers the entire life cycle, from planning to maintenance. Today, around 1,700 employees work for the company, which was founded in 1920, in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and France.

With 79,300 employees, Eiffage is one of the leading construction and concession companies in Europe. The group, based in France, generated international sales of 21.8 billion euros in 2023. Through this transaction, Eiffage is expanding its regional access, especially to the EQOS core markets in Germany and Austria. The very good performance and entrepreneurial culture that convinced Eiffage Énergie Systèmes remains the basis for the coming growth phase. The EQOS brand will also be continued for all business areas under the new owner. Terms of the transaction, which is still subject to regulatory approval, were not disclosed.
