Erdogan calls Mohammed bin Salman .. and the Turkish presidency issues a statement

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Turkish presidency said, on Monday, that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan exchanged congratulations with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha.

A statement from the Turkish Presidency Communication Department said: “The two sides discussed, in a telephone conversation, relations between the two countries and regional issues,” according to the Turkish news agency “Anatolia”.

And the Saudi Press Agency said that Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call from the Turkish president, in which he “congratulated him on Eid al-Adha.”

She added, “The Crown Prince exchanged congratulations with the Turkish President on this happy occasion, asking God Almighty to return this occasion to the two countries, the two brotherly peoples and the Islamic nation with goodness and joys.”

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Crown Prince visited Turkey, last month, in his first ever official visit to this country.

The Turkish president visited Saudi Arabia last April, where he met the Saudi monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his crown prince.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Turkey was part of a tour that included Egypt and Jordan.
