On election Sunday, Turkey’s old and probably new President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan once once more caused a stir. A video shows him standing in front of a polling station in a crowd and distributing money: he handed out 200 Turkish lira, which translates to around 10 euros per bill. The video was taken shortly following he cast his own vote.
