In a lengthy interview with the Emirati newspaper, “Emirates Today”, Menezes admitted, “My happiness cannot be described as the award.”

The owner of the number 15 shirt added, “I would like to thank my teammates, my coach, Sergey Rebrov, and all the fans of the leader, as well as my family, for their support for me last season, which I crowned with this award.”

The 21-year-old predicted, “The award will give me more confidence in the new season.”

Menezes indicated that he will enter the upcoming 2022-2023 season while he is in a state of stability, as he married during the last summer vacation, and his wife is expecting their first child.
