This is a second attempt to return to the Quebec artistic scene for the 53-year-old rocker as on Saturday, he announced two new concert dates to celebrate the holiday season with his fans.
Remember that in the summer of 2021, Lapointe had announced his return to the stage which was to take place on June 24 of that year, at the Cogeco Amphitheater in Trois-Rivières, on the occasion of the national holiday.
Following this announcement, a huge controversy had erupted due to the accusations of domestic violence which were brought against the singer and for which he pleaded guilty. The Quebec rocker had finally received a conditional discharge with probation for one year, and his criminal record will be automatically erased after three years.

Announcing these two concerts, one in Montreal and the other in Quebec, Éric Lapointe invites his public to purchase tickets in order to join him and his guests made up of Ludovick Bourgeois, Martin Deschamps, Breen LeBoeuf, Hugo Lapointe et Maxime Lapointefor a festive evening.
“I haven’t spent the holidays with you for four years. For me, the holidays are spent with the family. And this year, we’re going to be a big family. A big family coming together.
