He disappeared, wanting to rest and isolate himself
After a disappearance that lasted for 9 days and the concern of his wife and the management of his club over him, the management of the Enppi club in Egypt announced that Eric Traore, the professional African player, had been found in the ranks of the team.
And Mohamed Ismail, director of football at the club affiliated with one of the major oil companies in Egypt, revealed that Eric Traore, the Burkinabe national team player who was loaned from Pyramids Club, was found after he disappeared for 9 days.
He also added, in statements to Egyptian media, today, Monday, that the player contacted the club’s management and informed them of his presence in Egypt and that he disappeared because he wanted to get rest and isolate himself.
Ismail said that the club’s management did not file a complaint with the Egyptian Football Association against the player after his disappearance, out of respect for him and knowing that he was not causing problems, adding that he would be referred to the investigation through the club’s legal affairs and penalties would be imposed on him.
Ismail had revealed the disappearance of the player about 9 days ago, specifically during the Aswan match in the General League, as he was preparing to appear in the match as a substitute, but he entered the dressing room and did not appear after that without knowing the reasons.
He stated that the player’s wife did not know anything about him, as well as his agent, explaining that the club’s management does not have the player’s passport, because he is on loan from the Pyramids club, and therefore the passport is in the possession of his old club.
It is noteworthy that the player is 27 years old and joined the Aswan club, then the clearing team, and then moved to Pyramids, before moving on loan to the Petroleum Club.
