The beach volleyball players Martin Ermacora/Philipp Waller are in the semi-finals of the ProTour challenge tournament in Saquarema. The qualifiers defeated their compatriots Robin Seidl/Moritz Pristauz 2:1 (-19,30,13) on Saturday, and in the quarterfinals they defeated the Spanish veterans Pablo Herrera/Adrian Gavira 2:0 (15,12).
Their semi-final opponents on Sunday are the Cubans Noslen Diaz/Jorge Alayo, who eliminated Julian Hörl/Alex Horst 2-0 (14.17).
