Ernst Ludwig Leitner celebrates his 80th birthday on October 14th, and so it was more than just appropriate to celebrate the versatile composer and professor at the Mozarteum. The connection to the concert series – the first concert in 2003 also featured a work by Leitner on the program, namely “An Orpheus” for cello and piano, which this time his daughters Gundula Leitner (cello) and Bettina Leitner-Pelster (piano) interpreted with great intensity and skill .
