The Erste Bank Virtual Open continues to be the big topic in the local tennis scene.

The first edition of the virtual tennis tournament has been running since October 2nd. The players still have almost a whole week until the best four players for the finals are determined on October 22, 2023.

As is well known, these will not take place for the Austrian participants on October 27th in their own living rooms, but at the Vienna Heumarkt, where the Erste Bank Open (ATP 500), which is taking place at the same time, will also be played.

The two best international participants will play the finals from home.

Everyone can take part!

Participation in the tournament is open to everyone. In contrast to “real” tennis tournaments, any number of participants can play here – regardless of age and ability.

The only technical requirements are: VR glasses Meta Quest 2, 3 (only on the market since October 10th) or PRO, the TENNIS ESPORTS app, an internet connection and a playing area of approx. 3m x 3m. The VR Racket Handle is optional.
