In the past, the question of who would win the title in the football school league in Upper Austria was usually answered with “Kleinmünchen or Steyr”. At this year’s state final on Tuesday in Sierning, two schools, BG/BRG Rohrbach and BRG Linz-Auhof, surprisingly faced each other for the first time without cooperation with a state training center (LAZ) of the football association. In the end, the Mühlviertler team managed by Erwin Barth celebrated a 2-0 win.
