Have E3 2024 and 2025 been cancelled? The ESA, its organizers, respond and clarify what happens with the event.

“Includes the E3 cancellations for 2024 and 2025. This sentence, which is part of a set of slides from the los angeles board of tourism commissioners, has not stopped circulating in the last few hours, triggering rumors regarding the fate of the video game event. Rumors that seem to be false, because the ESAorganization of E3, has responded to the supposed cancellation of the event.

Stephen TotiloAxios journalist, has contacted the group to find out if E3 2024 has really been cancelled, and their response is that there is nothing firm:

ESA is currently in conversations with its members and other stakeholders regarding E3 2024 (and beyond), and for the time being no final decisions have been made regarding the events.

ESA

The organization has not been slow to send a message to all its members in which they emphasize the continuity of E3 as “part of the ESA narrative” and they anticipate that they are already talking with their members regarding what E3 2024 should be like (and beyond) to better serve the entertainment industry”.

When the cancellation of E3 2023 was announced, the same organization stressed that it intended to return in 2024. Will it finally be able to do so? Will you know how to renew yourself for modern times? Will it coexist with Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest once more?
