Wouldn’t you like to see your space art exhibited on the ESA Kids website? Here is the opportunity! We will focus on a different theme each month. The topics covered will range from orbits to planets, including astronauts and asteroids.
On Saturday July 1, 2023, ESA’s latest astrophysics mission, Euclid, was launched aboard a Space X Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral in Florida, USA.
Designed specifically to study the Dark Universe, Euclid is a telescope that will help scientists understand the mysterious forces that shape our cosmos. Stationed in space, Euclid will create a 3D map of the universe, gazing at distant galaxies, observing cosmic phenomena and capturing stunning images of celestial objects. Through Euclid’s observations, scientists will learn about the formation and evolution of galaxies, the expansion of space, and investigate the nature of dark matter and dark energy – the unseen forces that govern our cosmic neighborhood.
This month’s contest: Map of the universe in 3D
The works must reach us before July 31, 2023.
You can participate by sending a drawing, a painting, a mobile… it’s up to you to use your imagination!
Get creative and show us your 3D universe map through art!
We will select the best works which will be exhibited in the Space Gallery and will receive a special prize from the European Space Agency.

Please note that designs will not be returned. Due to the high number of participants, we do not send an acknowledgment of receipt for each application. Only the winners will be contacted by ESA.
