Battlestate Games, the developers of Escape From Tarkov, showed several minutes of full-fledged gameplay from the Escape from Tarkov: Arena spin-off during gamescom 2023. Escape from Tarkov: Arena is a stripped-down version of EFT with identical mechanics, but the action takes place in much smaller arenas and players are divided into teams. Previously, pre-orders for EFT: Arena were opened for 1300 rubles. However, owners of Escape From Tarkov editions of Edge of Darkness will get free access to Escape from Tarkov: Arena.
