Oh yes, it’s Christmas! After nearly six months without any real news fromEscape From TarkovBattleState Games is taking advantage of the confectioners’ truce to give us a little teaser of their next patch, 0.13. You can see passages in Streets of Tarkov, the next big urban map planned for the game, as well as some new weapons. At the end, the developers also show us the interior of the map lighthouse Lighthouse, also expected for a while. If it happens like the previous patches, when it comes out there will be a wipeie a reset of everyone’s account and quests.
On the other hand, no information for the arena mode, eagerly awaited by fans of gunfights who do not like loot. As a reminder, this is a mode standalone which will have to be purchased additionally – except for the wealthy with the Edge of Darkness edition – in which the confrontations will be directa little closer to what exists in Call of Duty et al, but while keeping the game feel specific to Tarkov. It was originally planned for this fall, but it is clear that we still have no news, despite the start of winter a few days ago. Let’s not play the frightened virgins, it wouldn’t be the first time that Nikita, the game director, announces things that would arrive late. Randomly, Street of Tarkov had to go out in June 2020for instance…
Anyway, this teaser tells us that the development continues. We are quite curious to see this new card for real, because it seems very ambitious and is according to them, the most complicated in the history of video games…
