ESH Médias, publisher of “ArcInfo”, becomes the majority shareholder of the Valais radio station Rhône FM. “This investment should make it possible to strengthen the development capacities of the radio station, whose financial situation is otherwise solid, and to create a strong media center in the Valais Romand region,” ESH Médias communicated on Monday March 28. He will “contribute to the development of collaborations and the search for synergies between the group’s media, including Le Nouvelliste, and Rhône FM”.
These “exchanges” might, among other things, be “facilitated and accelerated” through the medium-term move to a media center in Valais Romand, which might see the light of day in Sion in early 2025, according to the press release. The group refuses to make any other comments before the ordinary general meeting of Radio Rhône SA on April 25, 2022.
In addition to “ArcInfo”, ESH Médias owns the daily newspapers “Le Nouvelliste” from Valais and “La Côte” from Vaud. The group is also a minority shareholder in the Geneva TV channel Léman Bleu, in particular.
