Eswatini: UN calls for investigation into assassination of opponent Thulani Maseko

The United Nations has called on the authorities in Eswatini to carry out an “impartial” investigation into the assassination of the respected lawyer and fierce opponent of the government of Africa’s last absolute monarchy, Thulani Maseko. He was killed on Saturday evening by armed men about 50 km from the capital Mbabane. The unknown fired through a window of his home while he was at home with his family.
