Talented as an actor, the 51-year-old dad this time put on his director’s hat and went behind the camera for the HBO Max documentary, “The Last Movie Stars”. Acclaimed and eagerly awaited, the actor went to the Film Forum in New York on Sunday July 17 to attend the screening of his feature film. At his side to support him… his daughter, Maya Hawke (24 ans).
For the occasion, beaming with pride and smiling, the Oscar nominee was dressed in a gray suit and a white shirt that he wore unbuttoned and without a tie, as well as a pair of black sneakers. The ‘Stranger Things’ actress , she opted for a denim ensemble, a red knit sweater and a pair of black ankle boots. Arm in arm, the father-daughter duo posed for the photographers before taking their seats in the movie theater. In his documentary “The Last Movie Stars”, Ethan Hawke looks back on the romantic but also professional relationship between Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman in an environment as hostile as Hollywood can be.
