This Thursday, February 10, “Beijing Express” is back for a fifteenth season on M6. This year, the eight pairs of the famous adventure program presented by Stéphane Rotenberg are meeting in Central Asia for an unprecedented journey. In this first episode, viewers notably discovered Etienne, 52, a general practitioner from Cannes and his partner Vanessa, 29, a grocer in a village in Aveyron. The dream of the young woman? Go on an adventure with a great sportsman. And the least we can say is that the profile of the Cannes resident is far, far from the pair that Vanessa hoped for, to the delight of viewers.
“Finally ! I’m eager to !” For many tweeters, it was therefore time. This Thursday evening, fans of “Beijing Express” meet on M6 to discover the fifteenth season of their favorite show. Baptized “Beijing Express, in the land of the golden eagle”, this new edition offers the eight new pairs an absolute change of scenery… in Central Asia! For this very first stage, after fifteen hours of flight, the participants set off to conquer the high mountains of Kyrgyzstan. “Around me, mountains as far as the eye can see, eternal snow!” launched Stéphane Rotenberg, who is once again in his position as race director, to inaugurate this new season! This year, the adventurers will pass through four countries: Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates: big program!
Among the participants, a duo is already making a lot of noise this evening: it is the duo of strangers made up of Vanessa and Etienne.

Very involved in his job as a general practitioner, Etienne is a hedonist who loves idleness and the Cannes sun. This adventure represents for him a real challenge… above all sporting. The candidate has indeed shared a real reservation about his physical condition: he does not practice any sport, he has “horror of that” and he relies particularly on his buddy to advance as far as possible in the adventure. With his “atypical” glasses, the Cannes resident bursts the screen and caused a sensation with his duo, Vanessa, a great sportswoman, passionate about the idea of traveling the world with her backpack. Etienne, with a profile radically opposed to that of Vanessa, has already offered viewers a few punchlines of which he alone has the secret: “You have the hiking morphology” he launched to his partner whom he had just discovered before confiding alone, facing the camera: “Vanessa, it was not necessarily the profile that I thought. I would have imagined being with someone more athletic. Well she may be sporty but it doesn’t show in her…”
Many tweeters therefore see Etienne as a real “winner” (of the punchline?) for this new season!
