The woman arrested on Tuesday is suspected of having committed crimes in Croatia between 2015 and 2016 to the detriment of her eleven-year-old daughter. As it turned out, the woman had moved to Linz in 2021 to avoid prosecution in Croatia. The allegations are serious: the offenses she is accused of also find their equivalent in the Austrian Criminal Code (§§ 12/206 and 215a Paragraph 2). These are obviously offenses against the physical integrity of the child.
There were no further details about the offenses on Tuesday evening. The woman was transferred to the Linz prison on the orders of the public prosecutor.
