Bosnia and Herzegovina starts accession negotiations.
From Austria, European Minister Karoline Edtstadler and Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg (both ÖVP) immediately congratulated. “You are part of the European family, the EU is not complete without the Western Balkans. Now it is important to stay the course and continue the ambitious reform course. You can count on Austria’s continued support!” tweeted Edtstadler.
“This is a well-deserved reward for your will to reform and your courage. We will continue to support you on this path!” assured Schallenberg on X (formerly Twitter).
