Vienna – As expected, the pink National Council member Helmut Brandstätter wants to run for the Neos in the EU elections in June: “I want to work for a peaceful, strong Europe and would therefore like to apply to the Neos to become the top candidate for these European elections,” announced the 68-year-old in a video on Saturday. Next Tuesday the Neos will start their candidate primary election process.
