Budapest/Brussels – In a joint letter, the major groups in the European Parliament called on the EU Commission to take action against a homophobic whistleblower law in Hungary. The letter to EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, which is available to the German Press Agency, says that recent developments in Hungary are contributing to the deterioration of fundamental rights and democracy in the country.
