EU Summit in Brussels: Agreement on 50 Billion Euro Aid Package for Ukraine

Brussels – All 27 EU states agreed on an additional aid package worth 50 billion euros for Ukraine at the special summit in Brussels on Thursday. This was announced by Charles Michel, Permanent President of the Council of Heads of State and Government of the EU, shortly following the start of the meeting on Platform X. “We have a deal,” Michel wrote. “This ensures stable, long-term and predictable financing for Ukraine.”
