Brussels/EU-wide – The EU Parliament has called in the police because of a suspected hacker attack on an online platform for those interested in a parliamentary job. Increased efforts to combat hybrid threats in the months leading up to the European elections recently led to the discovery of a data breach, a spokeswoman said on Monday evening. A service through which applicants might provide information regarding themselves during the recruitment process was affected.
